I am the Team Lead for the Manchester / North West Building Services (Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health) team. The role includes budget setting / management, business development, bidding, staff engagement / development and the design and project management of sustainable, efficient, low carbon and cost effective MEP solutions.I am part of the senior leadership team for the Manchester office / NW region and MEP Northern region and a member of various cross divisional sector groups including higher education and healthcare. I also carry out technical and QA reviews across the MEP North region.I have represented Hydrock now Stantec as multi-disciplinary project lead on a number of projects.

ABOUT ANDY TURL
I am a Technical Director leading the Manchester / NW MEP building services engineering team for Stantec. I\'m also a member of the MEP division and NW regional senior management teams. I also head up the divisional Mechanical and Public Health working group with a remit of ensuring consistent technical approaches and quality assurance across the various MEP teams.I have more than 26 years of relevant experience as a building services designer, project manager and team leader with skills in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) system planning, design and delivery. Specialising in the sustainable design of buildings and HVAC systems, decarbonisation and climate change resilience I have extensive knowledge of the energy hierarchy, low and zero carbon and renewable technologies and how to implement them appropriately.I have hands on experience through all stages of the project lifecycle from initial feasibility and concept to completion and handover and across a wide range of sectors including:* healthcare* laboratories* higher education* schools* residential* commercial* hotels* leisure centres / swimming pools* museums* auditoriaI have a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree focused in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick.
