The lessons I learned at home drive how I approach my work as your personal Financial Planner, helping you manage your finances so you can focus on what matters most. Today, I’m a Financial Planner with 2065 Wealth Management where we prioritize building meaningful relationships.Before I became a Financial Planner, I spent 20 years as an engineer in various roles including sales, operations, and analysis. The last decade plus as an engineer I spent with a large public utility where my final role in project development led me to hone my financial skills on projects approaching billion-dollar budgets. That experience taught me that managing finances—whether that be for a family or a business—is truly about utilizing systems that align with your values and goals. Transitioning into financial planning felt like a natural next step.As for me personally, when I’m not working or relaxing at home with my family and my dogs, you’ll find me immersed in my community. I am president of my kids’ middle school athletic boosters, leading fundraising efforts and meeting with coaches, as well as the manager for the high school swim team. I also founded a statewide initiative to increase access to swim facilities and safety programs here in Alabama—a cause close to my heart as a swim dad. Teaching financial literacy in local schools is another passion of mine, as I believe empowering the next generation starts with giving them the tools to succeed.Whether you\'re managing the demands of a business, a busy household, or your financial future, my goal is to support you in making informed, practical decisions.
