ABOUT ANDY THOMAS
An experienced commercial manager leading the Retail team for Wildfarmed. I have more than 20 years experience working in the food industry in a variety of commercial roles in the UK and Australia.I have led commercial buying and sales teams in both fresh foods and long life grocery. Most recently I have led the Bakery and In Store Bakery buying departments at M&S and before that at Woolworths Australia. I thrive on building diverse, dynamic, forward thinking teams and creating a positive team environment that allows and challenges team members to maximise their potential. Combining my corporate experience with that of launching and operating a start-up food business (a coffee shop I launched and ran with my wife Keeley) I have a unique and rounded perspective on the food industry.I have a strong background in Food Buying and Procurement having achieved the MCIPS Professional Diploma early in my career, gaining the CIPS Diamond Jubilee prize whilst doing so. I have always adopted a strong collaborative approach to supplier relationships and believe this is the best way to drive innovation and value creation.
