Managing multiple contractors delivering work for Buildings & Civils in terms of their access planning activities across the whole route. Ensuring that access is booked into the best Possession opportunities taking into account when the issued work will become overdue. • Detailed Checking to ensure that the Possessions cover the actual asset • Frequent PPS worksite booking.• Site visits to view access/egress points, & site risks • Investigations into access that is lost either at the planning stage or on the actual date. Determination of the cause and recommendations for the future to either prevent reoccurrences or militate against the loss. • Identification of measures to improve the success of access applications• Managing late access requirements (Post T-7 weeks, & Post T-12 Weeks for disruptive Possessions) for all parts of Buildings & Civils• Working closely with the rest of the wider team, providing guidance, information, actions and advice in all access planning related matters• Problem solving skills – I am approached with difficult and complicated problems related to reactive faults, overdue work, and difficult to access locations and deal with these effectively and competently • Working to tight deadlines, in terms of compliance and overdue dates• Project managing the access on various high profile works • Regular use and knowledge on specialist NR software such as Monitor, CARRS, SSOWPS2, PPS, WINVV/Trust
