I am a Partner and UK Head of the Finance Group which includes our Banking, Restructuring and Financial Services Teams. My main area of practice is non contentious restructuring work. I act for companies, lenders, private equity and distressed debt funds on the restructuring and turnaround of businesses which are in some form of financial difficulty. Before joining the firm I worked at DLA Piper in Leeds for over 11 years. I have spent 9 months on secondment at one of the main UK banks working closely with the business support and distressed property teams. I regularly advise insolvency practitioners and other specialists in restructuring and insolvency related assignments. I have advised on various sectors including hotels, leisure, retail, real estate, charities, education, healthcare and football clubs.
