Supporting BT Corporate, Customer Facing Units, Digital, and Openreach, I lead initiatives to close BT Group’s Ambition 2030 legacy network portfolio, enabling strategic growth and enhancing customer experience.• Legacy Networks Closure Programme: Established, launched and leading the high-profile programme to decommission fixed network elements across 9 legacy networks.• Operational Leadership: Collaborating with subject matter experts to overcome change resistance, de-powering fixed network elements, achieving 75 GWh in energy savings and £21 million• PSTN Network Compaction: Directing the operational plan to accelerate Public Switched Telephone Network compaction. Achieved 13 GWh in energy savings and £3 million in FY25.• Network Delivery: Executed a critical delivery plan, automating processes to decommission 24 DMS100 Core Voice Switches, significantly boosting cost savings and sustainability efforts.• Site Closures: leading the de-commissioning and de-power workstream for site closures including BT Tower, creating a substantial pipeline for circular economy practices• Delivery Tracking: Designed a comprehensive programme dashboard to monitor progress and provide transparent insights to executives, facilitating informed decision-making.• AI Integration: Contributed to the AI learning squad, developing an AI journey using tools like Copilot to enhance programme delivery.• Winning Team Member: Played a key role in the inaugural BT Leader Lab programme, delivering an Anomaly Detection Ecosystem and mentoring a subsequent cohort to success.
