ABOUT ANDY RODRIGUEZ GUTIERREZ
Hello! I’m a senior at the University of Miami (UM) completing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. At UM, I have held leadership roles in organizations such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Most notably, I served as Lead Engineer for the UM AIAA chapter, where we participated in the NASA Student Launch Competition and successfully launched a full-scale vehicle that reached a apogee.Additionally, I have completed two internships: one as an Engineering Intern at a Marmon-Berkshire Hathaway company and another as a Research Intern through a National Science Foundation-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates, working at Florida’s Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion. I have also earned industry-relevant certifications that demonstrate my technical skills. I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Ph.D. and am currently seeking a summer internship to further develop my expertise.
