Training Design & Implementation: Plan and run daily goalkeeper training sessions (technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects).Technical Development: Work on shot-stopping, positioning, distribution, 1v1s, crosses, and communication.Game Preparation: Scout opposing attackers/set pieces to prepare goalkeepers for specific challenges.Video Analysis: Break down film of goalkeepers’ performances and opposing teams’ attacking patterns.Individualized Plans: Provide feedback and development plans tailored to each goalkeeper (starter and backups).Injury Prevention & Conditioning: Collaborate with strength & conditioning staff to ensure keepers’ fitness needs are met.On-Field Coaching: Correct positioning, communication, and decision-making in real-time.Identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes.Attend showcases, tournaments, ID camps, and high school/club matches.Build relationships with recruits, families, and club/HS coaches.Assist with full team sessions (positional work, small-sided games, tactical execution).Run drills when the head coach delegates.Warm-up goalkeepers and/or team.Provide in-game tactical observations (especially on defensive organization, set pieces, opponent tendencies).Support substitutions, player feedback, and halftime adjustments.Break down game film of opponents.Mentor players on time management, leadership, and accountability.Assist with compliance paperwork (NCAA regulations, eligibility).
