ABOUT ANDY RHODES-SMITH

An experienced multi-disciplined Quantity Surveyor. I have a strong value and not just cost approach to working in the construction industry. I am an ambitious individual playing integral parts to a number of key projects & contracts from measured term to multi-million pound construction projects. A strong team player currently leading a team of 5, looking to gain knowledge from everyone around me and all fields of the industry. Constantly improving my knowledge through yearly CPD with a strong belief \"everything can be improved\". I have vast experience in estimating & tendering all types of projects/contracts, playing a pivotal role in the qualitative elements also. I manage sub-contract packages for all types of works including preparation of subcontract payments & assessments of sub-contract interim applications and final accounts in line with cash flow projections. I undertake preparation of valuations & final accounts for our client, working with the project to team to ensure accuracy and again cash flow is strong. As part of my role I undertake periodic financial reconciliations direct to the board of directors inclusive of project managers reporting, cash flow reporting.I am a strong team player on the business development front, ensuring new business is tendered in line with our strategic approach, while always maintaining key good working relationships with existing clients.
