Managing the IGI Communications team, which handles media relations, science communication, institute-wide content strategy, social media, and multimedia content creation for education and philanthropic fundraising.Founded by Nobel Laureate Jennifer Doudna, the IGI is the world\'s foremost research institute developing CRISPR genome editing technology and real world applications. My team helps disseminate scientific advances, explain complex scientific topics to general audiences, assist reporters and policymakers around the world with access to experts in the space, collaborate with international non-profits, and more.In my time at the IGI, I\'ve led the Comms team through a pandemic, a Nobel prize, a TED Audacious Prize, a new building, and multiple stories on health and climate that made news around the world.
