A transformational Chief Constable with a track record of delivering innovation, collaboration, inclusion and diversity at two of the largest non-Metropolitan police forces in the UK. At the forefront of driving technological advances in law enforcement and public protection including initiating and overseeing the roll out of body-worn video cams for police officers in the UK and advising the Obama administration on the roll out of cameras in the U.S. Advised French government on roll out of 20K BWV cameras to Gendarmerie in 2020. Developed the use of advanced predictive analytics and visual graphics to create the most data driven police force in the UK. Each officer has a \'digital twin\' in an app called \'My Work\', and all the metrics of their work from public visibility, BWV use, to data quality, victim contact and much more, is shared or \'democratised\' with them so they can understand their impact to learn and improve the services they provide. Pushing the data to the officers and staff, trusting and empowering them to make smart decisions for smart citizen has helped improve our work across the whole organisation. As National Police Chiefs lead for International Coordination since 2015, have gained an international reputation initiating and leading political, technical and operational projects globally whilst maximizing UK influence and engagement. Consistently provided services recognised as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ through creating an inclusive, supportive environment where people are empowered to flourish and leadership is developed and enabled.
