About Andy Manes

Hello, my name is Andy Manes and I am an uncle, book reader, and history buff. I am currently a GA SEI student graduating in June 2022 where I’m learning full stack development. For the past 2 years, I lived with a friend who went through a coding boot camp which exposed me to the potential that being a full stack developer can provide. Before that I hiked a section of the Appalachian trail and then moved across the country right in the middle of the pandemic where I learned It’s ok to not always know exactly what you’re doing as long as you know why you’re doing it. A lesson that has shown to be valuable after diving into the deep end of the coding world. In the future, I see myself in an organization that values working with people who share a common goal and are eager to grow their understanding/execution of coding, which would allow me to enjoy the professional high of developing a long lasting career as well as the personal high of developing skills that will broaden opportunities for that career.
