Responsibility for the educational health care plan (EHCP) process covering 160 special educational needs and disability students in the academic year 23/24.• Organising and chairing annual reviews according to the legal timelines. Liaising with all stakeholders including student, parent/carer, curriculum, local authority and external professional agencies. Ensuring all paperwork is annotated and submitted in accordance with the SEND Code of Practice guidelines. • Sharing responsibility of the consultation process for students required to attend Kidderminster College as a named provision in their EHCP.• Pre-attendance meeting with student and parent/carer to ensure all needs can be supported. • Working knowledge of the Send Code of Practice 2015.

Working in further education, primarily around the EHCP and SEN processes. Coaching and mentoring young people to realise their potential and achieve, not just in education, also in life. Over thirty-five years of diverse experience in business development, account management, leadership, coaching and mentoring spanning retail, logistics, aerospace engineering and now education. I create supportive, motivational, positive environments. I am passionate about personal development and know that you can change your story. Having done it myself after 20 years of depression. I believe that building the right strong, positive relationships are the key to a good life. I am proactive, energetic, empathetic. There is no place for aggression and confrontation to get what you need, if you focus on the problem and aim for a win win situation.
