ABOUT ANDY KEY

I’m a partner in PwC\'s UK Consulting business specialising in large scale public sector transformation, and currently leading our Government & Public Sector Consulting team that works across a wide range of Whitehall departments, agencies and NDPBs, Transport, Education, Health, Local Authorities and other public services.After a grounding in the aerospace industry I’ve spent the last 25 years working with government clients as they respond to changing strategic influences - cost pressures, capability building and harnessing the opportunities offered by technology, data, digital and AI.Working from strategy through to execution, I’ve helped clients change their enterprise-wide operating models and cost structures as well as at the processes level within supply chains, core operational delivery and back / middle office activities.I have originated and advised on deals between the private and public sector notably across the police and security markets.I work comfortably at board level and have worked with ministers, executive teams, regulators, governing bodies, central government and agencies, investors and suppliers. I am able to take a rounded perspective to strategic change, balancing theory and practice and drawing on 25+ years real experience of transformation programmes. Based in the UK I have significant experience in the US, Canada, continental Europe and the Middle East.I am also a member of the Supervisory Boards of both PwC U.K. and PwC Middle East and a member of the PwC Global Board.
