ABOUT ANDY KENTY KENT

I am an energetic, effective and experienced maintenance engineering technician with over 35 years mechanical/electrical maintenance experience including supervising/leading teams of engineering technicians, with experience gained primarily through the Royal Navy on Sea King/Lynx helicopters as well as Sea Harrier fighters plus British Airways on the Airbus A320 aircraft, mainly on line maintenance operations.I also have gained technical experience in maintaining/servicing/planning with rolling stock as well as technical/operational experience in manufacturing, offshore wind turbines, catering equipment & hotel/building services maintenance, satellite operations, UAV & USB maintenance & ops, medical instruments, lift & crane inspections, traffic lights systems maintenance, as well as property lettings and numerous customer facing security roles with additional supervisory responsibility. I also have 3 years experience carrying out ad hoc chauffeur driving duties whilst in possession of a PCO private hire licence.My wide range of experience I have gained has been in pressurised situations resulting in outstanding levels of self-discipline and adaptability with proven reliability and leadership skills. I am a strong, self-motivated and conscientious team leader, capable of working on my own or as part of a team, displaying great initiative, tenacity with a strong drive and a determination to succeed.I have interests in property, travel, cooking, tv/film, theatre, music, outdoor/waterborne activities and sports especially rugby.
