I\'ve been a professional photographer for over 30 years now, 27 of them self-employed. Where on earth have all of those years gone? I know I absolutely still love what I do because I still choose to do it in my spare time when I\'m not working.I was told at college that we should specialise in one area of photography, I\'m very glad I didn\'t do that, I may well have ended up concentrating my efforts in one area, as it is I thrive on the diversity of the work that I do, every day really is different and that\'s what makes me tick.My talents cover a massive spectrum of photographic subjects, I\'m equally happy shooting people as I am shooting products in the studio, or on location where I take my studio with me, I also like to retouch my own work to the highest standard, to say I\'m obsessive about attention to detail would be a bit of an understatement. Lighting techniques and the digital tide have changed massively over recent years and I move with them, I\'m always on the look out for new ways of doing things and my portfolio reflects this. As well as shooting stills I now also shoot and edit video and also spend a lot of time flying drones capturing stills and video backed-up by years of photographic knowledge. After another recent shoot involving stills, video and drone footage, my client told me that I was like the \"Swiss Army Knife of photography\" and I take that as a huge compliment. I look forward to doing this for many more years, constantly evolving and moving with the times while having great fun doing it.
