ABOUT ANDY JONES

Experienced Director with a strong background in Manufacturing Transformation, Operations Leadership, Cost Transformation, EHS, Sustainability, OPEX, Digital Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Strategy Deployment with a demonstrated history of delivery in the FMCG industry. My last role was Manufacturing Director for Western Europe reporting to the VP of EMEA Supply Chain, there I led the manufacturing organisation of 600+ people across three unionised facilities in France, Spain and Italy. My role prior to that was as EMEA Cost Transformation Director which also reported to VP of EMEA Supply Chain. There I led the End to End Cost Transformation function driving cost reduction in Procurement, Specification, Manufacturing & Distribution. This role was also accountable for Footprint Strategy, PMO function, Lean Transformation/Industry 4.0, Operational Excellence, Digital Manufacturing and Safety & Sustainability teams across 18 manufacturing facilities in EMEA. Demonstrated skills and experience in people leadership, safety transformation, quality improvement, sustainability road map development, productivity/OEE improvement and cost reduction.Experienced in working with internal and external consultants. I have deployed asset and full facility transformations and Scrum style sprints with McKinsey focused on MBC (Mindset, Behaviours & Capabilities), MI (Management Infrastructure) and OS (Operating System). Strong quality management background in a high volume operation and an experienced lean manufacturing practitioner who has consistently delivered strong continuous improvement in volume and cost reduction. Wealth of experience leading high performing teams in a regional and global matrix organisation and collaborating closely with peer stakeholders such as CFO, Business VP\'s, Manufacturing Directors, EHS Director, Quality Director, S & OP Director, Procurement Director, Engineering Director, R&D Director, Marketing Director and Distribution Director, Educated to Master’s Degree level in Digital Systems, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and NEBOSH certificate in safety.
