ABOUT ANDY JACOBS
A former professional freelance guitarist working primarily in west end musical theatre for twenty years. During this time l was a musicians union steward who was heavily involved during contract negotiations with the Society of West End Theatres. l retrained in 1997 for Hertfordshire County Council as a residential care worker and became a manager in 2014 of my own supported housing unit. A serious illness triggered by Covid which l contracted while key working in March 2020 has caused me to retire on ill health grounds. l\'m an Avid fly fisherman and fly tyer and have used my skills as a fly tyer to produce brooches of beautiful Damsel flies and other insects used in fly fishing for Trout and Grayling. l also produce framed flies mounted onto water colours painted by a very talented local artist. l appear at craft fairs where l demonstrate how l tie my flies and my products can be purchased or ordered. l can supply for corporate gifts, wedding favours, fishing clubs and fishing tackle outlets.
