I am a founding investor and member of the Board of Directors of Five Castles Football Group, the majority owner of Akademisk Boldklub A/S (\"AB\"), a Danish football club. We purchased the club in Nov. I have spent the last couple of years also holding various operational roles at the club.Previously, I was Executive Director of Communications, Marketing and Graduate Admissions for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. I oversaw a team of 20 responsible for all admissions and enrollment (with an annual eight-figure new net revenue target), enrollment marketing, the College\'s website, social media, internal and external communications, College events and media for the graduate-level programs at the school.Prior to that, I was the Vice President of Marketing & Operations for Galvanize, a tech education and entrepreneurship company with eight campuses in six different states across the U.S. I ran day-to-day operations of the marketing department, including SEM/display, email marketing, social media, the company\'s website, and analytics, as well as the company\'s student admissions funnel. I managed a staff of 16 and a multimillion-dollar Marketing budget, and sat on the company\'s Executive Leadership Team.Before my move into education, I was the author of \"Chasing Perfection,\" a best-selling book on basketball analytics and technology that was published by Perseus Books (Da Capo Press) on March 8, 2016. I also was a featured speaker at the 2016 Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (see below for book and video links). I also co-founded and was the Executive Editor of The Cauldron, which was incubated by Medium and was published in a distribution partnership with Sports Illustrated (SI.com). I (along with co-founder Jamie O\'Grady) ran day-to-day operations, and worked on brand development, strategic planning, partnerships, talent procurement, and budgeting. Previously in my career, I worked in strategy, writing and editorial roles at Sports Illustrated, Advance Digital and ESPN, strategy consulting at Concrete, operations at MLX.com, and M&A work at Societe Generale and Legg Mason.
