Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of state of the art Additive Manufacturing equipment and associated post-processing tools. Undertakes a variety of quality control testing for raw materials, bulk and finished products.By working closely with a team of specialists, I assists with the execution and implementation of process and product development. The core focus of the centre is Metal Powder Bed Fusion (such as Electron Beam Melting and Laser Powder Bed), as well as polymer additive manufacturing, such as SLS and FDM.
