My roots are in engineering, with experience gained through working in the electrical power engineering and defence sectors, with the latter having been the focus since the mid-90s. Experience in the defence sector has spanned both the systems engineering lifecycle (through working for BAE SYSTEMS in the UK and SAAB in Sweden), and the provision of consultancy support services to government defence acquisition authorities.My current focus is on the provision of support to my clients on matters ranging from understanding and managing defence and security interoperability in the broadest sense, down to detailed specifics such as the through-life management of Tactical Data Links. In terms of the latter, I have significant experience of supporting a number of different government organisation types, military (air, land and surface) services and platform types.In terms of my education, I have a BEng (2:1 Hons) in Electronics & Control Engineering and an MSc in Advanced Systems Engineering.
