Following a series of mergers, Nottingham College is the only General Further Education college in Nottingham. It is one of the largest FE colleges in the country with over students enrolling on full, part-time or apprenticeship programmes every year, supported by over 1,300 staff.\\\\n\\\\nI am Deputy CEO with responsibility for the college\'s professional services, which incorporates finance, people & organisational development, IT, MIS, estates and student services, including safeguarding, wellbeing and careers.\\\\n\\\\nOver the first 15 months this post has knowingly been a turnaround role, supporting the CEO with stabilising the college, which has included:\\\\n- agreeing and implementing a recovery plan with lenders, including completing a multi-million pound re-financing in February 2022.\\\\n- working collaboratively with unions to implement a new pay and recognition agreement.\\\\n- agreeing and implementing a new estates strategy to maximise resource utilisation in college owned properties, which has included completion of a conversion of one large college property from a PFI agreement to a college owned freehold.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
