This role is responsible for placing and/or managing high value Ethernet orders for our largest customers across the UK Corporate and Public Sector and Global Services. This means validating order quality, ensuring orders are placed correctly into our and supplier systems, and then managing their delivery with Openreach; to target cycle time and minimizing and managing any delays. Working with internal clients, project management and technical teams, Openreach, and the customer, to ensure the best possible delivery for our customers.• Strong understanding of the technologies and processes used to deliver Ethernet, SOGEA and FTTP based products throughout BT’s product portfolio.• Working closely with Openreach to ensure delivery process is kept fluid for both Openreach to provide and customer to understand the various stages and delivery timescales.• Use of various systems to be able to view and report on full journey (OCS, View My Job, HUD, Single Interface) linking in with Openreach’s and BT’s technical teams.• Strong ability to understand complex descriptions used in the delivery process and break this down to give clear, simple description for customers to follow. Given over E-mail or telephone updates.• Ability to adhere to strict timescale management. Ensure that the various stages are carried out in a timely manner to ensure the businesses’ SLAs are met as well as leading the customers’ expectations throughout.• Strong focus on managing large number of tasks and being able to provide updates to customers, internal stakeholders, or management at short notice.
