Andy Bell is a Ramboll UK Director, within the Transport Group, with a particular focus on National Highways and other major client led Highways projects. Currently Ramboll Director on a number of National Highways Frameworks and Major Projects. Andy leads and is responsible for the technical performance within the Ramboll UK Highway Division. Working closely with colleagues around the country to manage resources and to allocate them effectively to ensure they contribute to the successful delivery of projects predominantly in the Transport sector. He also oversees the technical quality of infrastructure, highway and transportation projects, identifying any competence gaps and ensuring training plans are developed and delivered. Andy also is Key Client Manager to a number to number of Ramboll Clients.Andy is a Chartered Civil Engineer; a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of both the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and Institute of Highway Engineers. Andy now has over 35 years of experience in the highway\'s sector, the last 30 years in the delivery of major highway projects in a design and build environment. Drawing on this experience, Andy understands the importance of the collaborative approach required to meet clients\' scheme objectives and providing contractors with innovative and, cost and programme efficient design solutions while meeting environmental challenges. Andy enjoys working with stakeholders and coordinating the different disciplines needed to deliver a successful project such as Environment, Structural Engineering and Geotechnics. He has a strong awareness of how to harness the skills from each discipline through effective teamwork.Andy is involved in the wider highway community, and is currently Mobility and Transport Lead for the the UK\'s Association for Consultancy and Engineering - Voice of Engineering Board.
