Founded by renowned inventor Dean Kamen in 1989, FIRST has reached more than 3.2 million+ youth participants in more than 100 countries over the past three decades.FIRST has combined the rigor of STEM learning with the fun and excitement of traditional sports and the inspiration that comes from community, through programs that have a proven impact on learning, interest and skill-building inside and outside the classroom. FIRST is the only sport where every kid can \"go pro.\"
