About Andy Baxter

Since joining Page in 1998, Andrew has been involved in some of the firm\'s largest and most complex projects, including large data centers for clients across the country. One of his more recent data center projects is the United Airlines Data Center and Control Facility, designed with state-of-the-art mechanical systems to maintain uninterrupted operations even during catastrophic events. He has expertise in construction administration, construction cost analysis, project management, and systems evaluations. Since 2006, has been directly responsible for the engineering services for more than $4.5B in data center construction.Andrew is the engineering Principal for the Science and Technology market sector group at Page with a specific focus on Mission Critical Facilities. He is responsible for the engineering development for most of the data center, control facility and similar related projects. Prior to taking this position, Andrew was Director of MEP Engineering for Page, responsible for managing the engineering resources for all projects and overseeing the operations and profession development of an in office staff of 40+. Andrew is a Voting Member of ASHRAE’s SSPC 90.4, the Standards committee tasked with publishing and maintaining ASHRAE 90.4, Energy Standard for Data Centers. His also a Voting Member of Technical Committee (TC) 9.9 Mission Critical Facilities, Data Centers, Technology Spaces, and Electronic Equipment. Currently Andrew is a member of the Architectural Engineering Advisory Committee for the Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas and the Architectural and Engineering CAD Industry Advisory Committee for Austin Community College. As part of these groups Andrew provides input and experience to the Architecture and Engineering programs for each institution.He is registered to practice engineering in 18 states (AL, CA, CO, FL, ID, IL, IA, MO, NJ, NM, NY, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, WA, and WY).
