ABOUT ANDY BARBER
Andy began his career in 1984 working for a custom home builder in Clemson SC. Becoming a liscensed builder in 1986 he built for several years in the upstate of SC before moving to Charleston SC as a product rep for Pelican Building Centers truss and EWP Division. After over 25 years in coastal SC and careers at Buck Lumber, TeamMates Trusses and Williams Brothers (now Pro-Build) Andy returned to Builders FirstSource in 2010 and then to Atlantic Building Components (formerly TeamMates Trusses) as a Component Sales Rep and left in November of 2014. Andy\'s over 25 years in the home builders association has extended his professional base and have lead him to be the 2013 President of the Charleston Home Builders Association and Associates Vice President of the Home Builders Association of South Carolina from 2007 to 2010. Andy also chairs the SC HBA Building Codes Committee and is a participating member of the International Code Council.
