ABOUT ANDY BAKER
As Deputy Journalist for ATMO America, I am investigating and reporting on new developments in the industry of natural refrigerants. As Owner of YourCleanEnergy LLC: with passion, optimism, and sharp attention to ROI, I lead a specialty consulting company that is focused on the design of innovative natural refrigerant heat pump systems. My specialty is the evaluation, design, and technical support of ocean, ground, and air source CO2 heat pump systems for heating and cooling of large facilities, and district heating networks. I hold a BS in civil engineering from Penn State and have worked on large municipal water system design projects with Black & Veatch in San Diego and Boston, and with HDR Alaska, before launching the start up of YourCleanEnergy in 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska. My family and I am based in the heart of Seattle now since 2018. I have strong experience in public speaking and bringing both media attention and investment to exciting and cutting edge natural refrigerant heat pump projects. I am currently focused on evaluating and developing CO2 heat pump projects in Washington State. I am a regular speaker and partner with ATMO America who will have their annual conference June 8 & 9 2025 in Atlanta. I closely follow new NatRef heat pump technology developments and market trends here in the USA.
