About Andy Arnold
My research broadly focuses on well-being, with aims to improve health disparities. I study the relationships between intra-personal and inter-personal connection—much of my work focuses on how interoceptive dysregulation impacts emotional processing and contributes to loneliness. This research program identifies physiological and psychological mechanisms that support individual well-being and fulfill the homeostatic need of social connection, informing interventions for psychosocial health.
