Selected to provide strategic support to the sales representative/account managers across a thirteen-state region. Serve as a consultative expert providing education and solutions for patients on hemodialysis / peritoneal dialysis suffering from nutritional deficiencies. Provide expert advice to physicians to ensure the best/most effective formulation to satisfy each customer\'s dietary needs. Travel to patient homes, dialysis clinics, and other locations as needed. Play a significant role as part of a dynamic team that works cohesively to meet the revenue goals at this privately held pharmacy.Subject matter expert supporting positive patient outcomes by conducting presentations/education on therapy administration in alignment with all health and safety guidelines. Closely collaborate with the pharmacy in identifying the correct formula for each patient to improve nutritional outcomes. Start patients on IDPN or IPN therapy and conduct in-home training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy administration. Partner with the sales staff to set up and provide thorough education through in-services on the entire therapeutic process. Conduct training for nurses, patients, and doctors to explain the benefits and safe administration of protein therapy and strategies to identify signs, symptoms, and adverse reactions.Plan and present continuing education units for clinicians to provide additional staff training to improve proficiency on the subject matter.Conducted a presentation to a group of dietitians on the efficacy of combining protein therapy nutrition and wound care/healing.Demonstrated high-level knowledge and expertise while conducting a poster presentation at the Annual Dialysis Conference in Kansas City in February 2020. Published and presented data on the clinical experience that improved the nutritional makers in a patient afflicted with significant co-morbidities, deep/open foot wounds, and malnourishment.
