After graduating from the University of Aberdeen with a first-class MEng degree in Civil and Structural Engineering I commenced employment with DNV as an Engineer in the Offshore Structures Team in Aberdeen. Currently, my responsibilities revolve around acting as a Product Owner for the Offshore Container WebApp and providing 3rd Party Verification and Certification services related to various types of offshore equipment. The design review activities include checking the structural drawings, evaluation of loads, modelling and analysis of structures (using DNV\'s in-house software - SESAM GeniE) to ensure compliance with DNV and other internationally recognised standards.
