Technical Fellow at GKN Aerospace - Fokker from 2018, Structures Staff Scientist at Boom from 2023, Head of Fuselage at Deutsche Aircraft from 2026.20+ years of experience leading product development teams as a chief engineer, with teams of up to 80 engineers.Achieved the required technology readiness levels (TRL’s) for several innovative aerospace materials and structural concepts e.g. the thermoplastic wing fixed leading edge for the Airbus A380 and induction welded carbon thermoplastic elevators and rudder for the Gulfstream G650/G650ER and G700/G800. Responsible for generating the Certification Plans and agreeing the Certification Approach with the EASA and/or FAA for these projects. Also participating in EASA/FAA working groups generating new Policy and Guidance for Composites, Mods, Bonding and Repairs.
