I grew up on the Hill. literally.With a parent who was a lifelong Hill staffer, a grandmother in the Senate, and a grandfather at the Library of Congress, the federal government was the family business. Growing up, I watched them navigate this world and thought: This is the last place I want to work.Fast forward decades later, and here I am, not just working in government affairs, but loving it! Turns out, those dinner table conversations were preparing me for exactly this career.Twenty years in, I turn federal policy complexity into organizational impact, and ultimately, into impact for people. The work I do is about creating pathways to good jobs, affordable healthcare, and economic opportunity in communities that need it most.I\'ve built a career on delivering results: • Secured billions in federal funding • Shaped national labor and workforce policy • Built bipartisan relationships with Congressional leaders and agency officials that open doors when it countsWhere I started matters.I started this path hesitantly, thinking: I\'ll only do this for two years, max. I began on Capitol Hill with the House Appropriations Committee, working across multiple subcommittees. That experience taught me the importance of fostering bipartisan relationships and how funding decisions are made, negotiated, and ultimately delivered.Twelve years at the U.S. Department of Labor followed… eight years with the Obama Administration and four years during the Biden Administration. I bring a 360-degree perspective on federal policy, including leadership roles in advocacy and lobbying.What I deliver:I translate priorities into legislative wins, navigating regulatory landscapes, securing federal appropriations, building coalitions, and managing high-stakes Hill engagement.
