About Andrew Legg

I’m a business professional with a strong foundation in sales leadership, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement—driven by a passion for building relationships, creating value, and making a lasting impact in the State of West Virginia. I recently completed my MBA at West Virginia University, following a B.S. in Business Administration with a 4.0 GPA and dual concentrations in Marketing and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.Currently, I am Assistant Director of Development in the Chambers College of Business and Economics, where I facilitate gifts made to the Chambers college to benefit students, faculty, and drive forward the mission of the University. Previously, I served as a Sales District Leader at Frito-Lay, where I led a team of 14 in driving product execution and sales growth. I am certified through the Frito-Lay Frontline Leader Training Program, and I work daily with store managers, merchandisers, and regional sales teams to ensure our products are well-positioned in the marketplace. My ability to analyze performance data, coach team members, and foster productive partnerships has been key to exceeding sales goals and improving service standards.Earlier experiences include time as a Strategy & External Relations Graduate Assistant at WVU’s Center for Career Development, peer mentorship for undergraduate students at WVU, and a community project to turf the Huntington Little League field, which included grant writing, fundraising, media relations, and onsite management. That project earned me a Hometown Hero Award from WSAZ News Channel 3 and taught me the power of aligning a mission with measurable goals to achieve success.Across every role, I’ve worked to combine analytical thinking with people-first leadership. Whether I’m mentoring team members, pitching initiatives, or solving complex problems, I bring energy, organization, and accountability to the task at hand. I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can continuously learn, lead, and contribute to a mission-driven team.Let’s connect if you’re interested in leadership, sales strategy, community impact, or innovation in business development. I\'m always open to discussing new opportunities, exchanging ideas, or supporting others on their professional journey.
