ABOUT ANDY LIDDLE
Chartered Engineer and Fellow with the Energy Institute, with 14 years’ experience working in both exploration and production roles, onsite and office based to support clients globally - I have the maintenance and operational experience required to reduce OPEX whilst maintaining asset integrity. Currently employed by bp within the maintenance and reliability department to manage risk, assure asset integrity and increase facility uptime. Travelling internationally, to improve client operations and identify business opportunities, I have worked in Azerbaijan, Canada, EU (various), Norway, Trinidad, and USA. The improvements to maintenance implementation I have executed include asset register builds/updates and reviews, Preventative Maintenance Optimization (PMO), Safety Critical Element (SCE) selection/review, FEED studies, Bills of Material (BoM) development, creation of maintenance strategies (FMEA & RCM) and philosophies, bench-marking analysis, incident investigations (RCA’s), and external auditing of maintenance practices. I am now familiar a with several companies and international standards including ISO14224, ISO and NORSOK Z-008. These work scopes require working within multiple types of CMMS including SAP and Maximo.
