ABOUT ANDREW YOUNG

Helping clients with their financial planning and investment needs begins with building strong, lasting relationships. As a financial planner for Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers, Andrew Young puts his clients and their needs first as a fiduciary.Andrew likes to take a client goals-based approach to build their financial plan around that. This includes looking at cash flow, cash management, tax planning, investment management and estate planning. Focusing on pre and early retirees Andrew likes to use his tax experience to emphasize the tax planning to pay as little as taxes over a client\'s lifetime. Additionally, Andrew works on a team of Dave Ramsey’s SmartVestor Pros, because like Dave, his focus is on helping clients live their lives debt-free and financially independent. Before joining Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers, Andrew worked for 10 years in financial services with J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Huntington National Bank. His background includes corporate financial planning and analysis, operations, risk and project management. Andrew is also a firm believer in giving back to the community. He has volunteered for nine years with Tax Time; a program that prepares taxes as a free service for low-middle income individuals and families in Central Ohio. Andrew lives in Westerville, Ohio with his wife, Carolyn, and son and 2 daughters. They are members of Heritage Christian Church where they volunteer in the children\'s ministry. Outside of work, you can find them around Westerville enjoying the many parks and trails.
