About Andrew Atwood
Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. I\'m Andrew, and I\'m working on how my department could, in the future, manage and unlimited number of planograms (super niche, I know.) I\'m a Sr. Business Partner, Presentation Operations with Space, Presentation, and Transitions at Target. Previous experience on the core team includes my role as Business Partner with a focus on the Home Pyramid, specifically in Storage & Utility. Thanks a ton for dropping by; here\'s a bit about my journey so far.In my past life (okay, maybe not that dramatic), I worked in the field of K-12 Education. I was a Teacher on Special Assignment in Arts Administration at The FAIR School for Arts, and a Music Specialist with Edina Public Schools. I hold a Master\'s of Education in Second Language Education from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, and a Bachelor\'s in Music Education from St. Olaf College. I\'ve been on quite the adventure.During my undergraduate tenure, yours truly was the College Relations Intern, rubbing shoulders with the bigwigs and reporting directly to the VP of Enrollment and College Relations. It was like a crash course in Marketing/Communications and Events Management, melding perfectly with my four years of experience in the Admissions Office.Languages? Oh, certainly. Fluency in Spanish and English (my first language), and I\'m trying to charm my way through Italian – we\'re in the \"getting to know each other\" phase.Now, onto the grand plan – I\'m eyeing the Localization and Translation field and planning my ascent into that realm via project management. Always looking for ways to allow my leadership and communication skills to shine, staying positive as we go.Stick around, my friend – the fun is just getting started!
