About Andrew Straut
As an MSBA student at Providence College, I work as a GA with the IT Enterprise Systems team to develop dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, SQL, and Azure. My responsibilities include gathering requirements, building ETL processes, and supporting user testing to ensure smooth deployment and usability.I recently founded StartSafe AI to help senior living communities and small businesses adopt responsible AI. I’ve built the technical foundation, designed the public-facing site, and drafted compliance frameworks aligned with HIPAA and SOC 2. My goal is to create tools that are easy to use, ethically designed, and tailored to real-world workflows.With a BS in finance and ongoing graduate studies in business analytics, I approach problems with both technical and strategic perspective. I’m interested in projects that combine thoughtful design, clear impact, and trust-building through transparency.
