About Andrew Schmittat
Throughout my academic career, I have always been drawn to opportunities that allow me to apply my knowledge and skills. I find myself spending most of my free time on personal and extracurricular projects, expanding my abilities as an engineering student. I am part of McMaster University’s Baja Racing team, where I am an avid member of the suspension subteam. My work consists of machining and designing suspension parts using SolidWorks and finite element analysis.Some of my recent personal projects include designing a new type of pneumatic engine and creating a 3D printed remote control car from scratch.Videos detailing my personal projects can be found on my YouTube channel.
