I am a Chartered Town Planner with over twenty years\' experience providing professional advice to a wide range of clients which include developers, land promoters, landowners and major housebuilders.I am a Planning Director, leading the Design Team and part of the Senior Management Team at Spawforths. My specialisms include development plans, identifying and securing allocations through the Local Plan process, engaging with local authorities and attendance at Examination in Public. Working on a wide range of projects which cover significant urban extensions, commercial schemes and sites released from the Green Belt. Spawforths is a creative multi-disciplinary consultancy of town planners, masterplanners and architects. Spawforths is the largest independent planning consultancy in the North of England and is currently leading on £12.5 billion of development, including over new homes and 25 million sq.ft of employment and commercial space through the planning system. In doing so Spawforths is also working with over 70 communities and delivering award winning design and place making.I joined Spawforths in August 2006 following four years at Rugby Borough Council working within the Spatial Policy Team, which prepared and adopted the Local Plan.
