About Andrew Renda
I build population health infrastructure that changes how organizations invest – I quantified that 1 Unhealthy Day costs $15.64 PMPM in increased medical spend, and that finding reshaped how a Fortune 50 C-suite allocates capital. Over 18 years at Humana, I\'ve built the clinical infrastructure, data ecosystems, and community health architecture – nationwide for Medicare and across 10+ Medicaid states – that define what enterprise population health actually looks like in practice. As a Certified Health Insurance Executive (CHIE) and Modern Healthcare Top 25 Innovator, my work focuses on building and scaling models that improve health outcomes, reduce cost, and integrate social risk into clinical and operational workflows. My expertise spans analytics, insights, strategy, product design, and multi stakeholder collaboration. I have led initiatives across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial populations, emphasizing co-creation of medical, behavioral, and social health solutions that maximize Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) and improve health outcomes. And, I’ve held board and leadership roles with the Gravity Project, Kentuckiana Health Collaborative, and the Kentucky Science Center, helping to shape health and SDOH standards, policy, and impact.I’m particularly effective in organizations - large or emerging - that need to:• Build or mature population health and SDOH/HRSN strategy• Integrate social risk data into enterprise systems and workflows• Align clinical models with value based care and regulatory requirements• Develop scalable community and cross sector partnerships• Navigate CMS, NCQA, HL7, and interoperability standards• Translate evidence based interventions into operational executionI bring payer scale experience with the agility to help health systems, tech companies, and mission driven organizations accelerate their population health and health equity goals.
