Real estate is a solid, time-honored way to invest your money. But the ROI of owning and operating real estate goes far beyond just dollars and cents. As founder and CEO of Birgo, I help people build wealth *and* grow strong communities through real estate. Most would-be investors are two things: ambitious but uncertain. They want to invest wisely and make an impact, but don’t know where to start. For them, it’s not about jumping on bandwagons or getting rich quick. It’s about creating a steady stream of passive wealth while doing good in the world. At Birgo, we help them do both. Since launching in 2012, we’ve grown from a small but mighty team to 94 employees strong, with over 3,300 multifamily units and $312 million in assets under management. I also share what I know on my podcast Real Returns, with my co-host and business partner Daniel Croce. At heart, I’ve always been a problem solver. As a born entrepreneur, I’ve founded four companies and worked with several start-ups — always with the goal of helping people do more and do better. Off the clock, I volunteer at local non-profits and my home church. You can also find me spending quality time with my wife, Shannon, and our three beautiful daughters, Ava, Eliza, and Mila.
