As the US Head of Sanctions Investigations & Intelligence at TD, I lead a team of analysts conducting sanctions investigations in coordination with TD’s broader AML Transaction Monitoring and Complex Investigations teams. I have over ten years of experience in the investigations, intelligence, and financial crimes compliance space, and I am passionate about making the global financial system safer and more resilient to illicit actors.I am also an avid learner and student of finance and technology. I recently completed my MBA at Georgetown University\'s McDonough School of Business and am currently enrolled in both Computer Science and Full-Stack Engineering Certificate courses. I previously completed a certificate in Cryptocurrencies from MIT, and I hold professional certifications in cryptocurrency investigations, cryptocurrency compliance, fraud examination, anti-money laundering, and sanctions. I am very interested in the rapid evolution of finance and in developing the mix of skills necessary for a robust and functional understanding of FinTech, RegTech, and Cryptocurrencies. I am always looking for opportunities to apply my knowledge and skills to solve complex problems and create value for TD and the broader financial industry.
