ABOUT ANDREW RANUCCI
I’m a junior at Virginia Tech studying Computational Modeling & Data Analytics (CMDA), passionate about building data systems that transform complex information into actionable insight.This past summer, I worked at Chubb as a Data Engineering Intern, where I designed and optimized ETL pipelines and built agentic AI to enhance data workflows and decision-making.Through my coursework, I’ve built a strong foundation in applied statistics, programming, data modeling, and data infrastructure, applying these skills to real-world datasets to uncover patterns, engineer solutions, and extract meaning.On campus, I serve as an undergraduate research assistant, using Python and NLP to extract and analyze government policy data. Beyond research, my hackathon team won an award at Hack Violet for ZenRun, an AI-powered app that helps users choose safe, personalized running routes.
