   Principal Engineer in H-E-B’s Digital organization, helping guide the technical direction of our e-commerce platform. Job is a hybrid of remote and in-person- Primary technical decision-maker for most front-end architecture decisions- Frequent author of design docs, RFCs, blogs, tutorials, meeting notes, etc. I do a *lot* of writing- I\'m a key stakeholder in the technical roadmap for HEB.com- Still ship production code regularly (this has increased dramatically recently w/ LLM-based assistants) and have my work reviewed by engineers across teams and levels- Hands on with Product Management to turn their ideas into clear, feasible technical requirements, and find the right engineering teams to deliver- Hands on with Engineering Management on planning, execution, and supporting engineer career growth- Known for taking on escalated,\"fire alarm\" projects and staying calm under pressure- Proven communicator with people across roles, skill sets, and backgrounds- Led GraphQL development (our API of choice for web/iOS/Android clients) for the first few years, eventually building a team to hand it off to with a roadmap I helped establish- Review pull requests, participate in various team plannings, and rotate on-call with ICs- Prototype future technical capabilities ahead of broader adoption- Lead for HEB.com through PCI 4.0 certification process- Pushed for broader awareness of A11y across engineering, including hiring a full-time Web Accessibility Engineer to work across our teams
