About Andrew Meaux

From working on civic engagement and resilience initiatives to strengthening education and health systems, I’ve spent over a decade helping organizations turn big ideas into real impact. With experience spanning philanthropy, government, and nonprofit sectors, I specialize in strategic planning, program design, and organizational effectiveness. I’ve led multimillion-dollar initiatives, designed policies that drive local solutions, and developed tools that help teams work smarter. My work has taken me across the U.S. and globally—from facilitating strategy workshops in Ethiopia to conducting migration research in Italy. At my core, I believe that solutions are strongest when they are locally driven. Whether supporting governments, communities, or organizations, I focus on collaboration, capacity strengthening, and sustainable impact. I bring expertise in grant management, community-led solutions, stakeholder engagement, and systems strengthening. Some key highlights of my work include: Leading the development of USAID’s Education Capacity Strengthening Toolkit Managing a multi-country study on urban climate migration Facilitating 15+ webinars and trainings on governance, finance, grantmaking and scaling Advising on funding proposals that have secured millions for education, climate, economic development and civic engagement programs Based in Portland, Maine and open to relocation, I’m looking to bring my skills in strategy, program leadership, and impact measurement to organizations in management consulting, philanthropy, government, non-profit, or mission-driven private sector roles. If you’re working to make a difference and need a strategic thinker who can turn ideas into action, let’s connect.
