Responsible for creating & leading an Asset Management department responsible for the turn-around of a $500MM legacy portfolio of value add multi-family & student housing assets in Midwest, Southeast & South• Sold 10 MF/SH assets, for a net return of 29.4%• Created $17MM in value after completely changing a failing business plan for 3 student housing properties• Changed management companies on 30 properties over 3 years, led negotiation on 10 loan workouts, modifications and extensions and managed over $15MM of capital projects• Created an additional $32MM in incremental value in a legacy portfolio through improved management, value add and capital projects• Provided underwriting, diligence, design & construction support on >$500MM in acquisition & development projects
