I have moved off of the product teams and now work exclusively as the sole tech lead for Front End Efficiency in the Platform Engineering org at Credit Karma. I contributed heavily to the Front End landscape in the area of Developer Efficiency, focusing on efforts around overall quality and velocity. Front End Deploy Service and Front End Previews were two major achievements in 2022. I have become a subject matter expert and sole maintainer of the FE deployment pipeline, working on elegant solutions to big problems. This includes working on end to end solutions, building out full stack application experiences, cli tooling, service architectures, and surveying the Front End engineering landscape at Credit Karma for specific and creative solutions to everyday problems plaguing engineers daily. Languages have become no barrier; I write simultaneously in Python, Golang, and TypeScript daily and know my way around Front End applications as well as the microservices ecosystem in Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform. I have saved the company hundreds of hours of engineering hours and absolutely love the impact, breadth, and scope of work I do every day at Credit Karma.
