I am an administrative professional with several years of experience in financial operations, IT support, and office management, primarily in non-profit and church settings. Currently, I am working toward completing my Certificate in Bookkeeping for Small Business at the University of the Fraser Valley (expected November 2024) to transition into a full-time bookkeeping career.In my current role as a Parish Administrator, I manage a variety of financial tasks, including processing payments, managing donations, and maintaining detailed financial records in collaboration with parish treasurers. I have experience in accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting. These experiences have sparked my passion for bookkeeping, and I am eager to continue building on this foundation in a more dedicated capacity.I am proficient in Microsoft Office and have practical experience with QuickBooks and Wave. My strengths include strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes. I enjoy finding efficient solutions to administrative and financial challenges and am committed to accuracy in all aspects of my work.I am actively seeking opportunities to gain further experience in bookkeeping, and I am open to entry-level positions where I can continue to grow, learn, and contribute.
