Senior Information Security Engineer, Access Management. Working with Access Manager tools to configure applications, troubleshoot and engineer solutions for Single Sign On, SAML 2.0 implementation of Federated application, OAuth, Manage Two Factor Authentication, and perform PKI, Certificate management and Key management functions.I graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an Assiciates in Network Systems Administration and during the same time I was employed as Fox Valley Technical College\'s Student Help Desk and Computer Support Intern supervisor. I Mentored and help develop Help Desk skills in students as required by their class and teach and learn from volunteers in computer repair and maintenance. I have also graduated from Lakeland University with a Bachelors in Computer Science - Information Systems. I am currently employed with Thrivent Financial as a Senior Information Security Engineer working with Access Management Solution Engineer in On-Premise and Cloud Solutions, Certificate management and in PKI enablement; while working on an Agile team.I have worked both in the civilian sector as well as in the military, serving in the US Marine Corps for 14 years. Where I held jobs that allowed me to develop my leadership and drive in mentoring. I am an active volunteer with my most recent projects the past years supporting TEALS, Wisconsin food pantries, and various charities via active donations and races.

   IT-Security Engineer, Primary role is in Access Management. Working with Access Manager tools to configure applications, troubleshoot and engineer solutions for Single Sign On, SAML 2.0 implementation of Federated application, OAuth and OIDC, Manage Two Factor Authentication, and perform PKI, Certificate management and Key management functions. I mentor junior Engineers in best practices and troubleshooting methodologies. I explore new tools and maximize devices by mastering the protocols we employ. I partner with application developers, vendors and Business partners to ensure regulatory and standards are being met to improve security. I actively look to increase a proactive security posture. Through partnered discussions we work to achieve the business needs while providing the best security available, and revisiting these solutions to re-evaluate their level of security with standards, new regulations and as new technologies come out or become available. I am a leader in the Military Veterans Network to increase inclusion across the organization. I interview new candidates to join Information Security teams. I champion DE & I by challenging myself and others to ask hard questions and promote equality with treating everyone with Dignity and Respect they deserve.
